Students that qualify and are actively using Veteran's Education Benefits at Averett University are not required to pay the commencement fee. If you have exhausted your Veteran's Education Benefits prior to your last semester you will be required to pay your commencement fee. 
Degree Information
Log into PC-Self Service and click the "Grades" tab to review your unofficial transcript. This will show you what degree/major/minor you are registered under. List below what is on your unofficial transcript. 









Agreement and Email Verification:

ALL Students:  Must meet with their Advisor/Student Success Counselor after completing the graduation application to make sure all degree requirements are fulfilled. 

Should a problem arise with your plan to graduate, we will contact you through your Averett e-mail account. Your e-signature and date below indicates your agreement to this policy and confirms your email address is correct.




Special Requirements
1.  All students applying for graduation must pay the $125 graduation fee and remaining balance on their account by the deadline to avoid a $50 late fee. Click here to view deadlines. 

If you are unable to meet you degree requirements or be financially cleared from student accounts you will be withdrawn from graduation. In order to officially graduate once you are withdrawn you will need to complete another graduation application once you become eligible to graduate. If you are withdrawn from graduation and you paid your $125.00 graduation fee your fee will be transferred to the next graduation you apply for. 

IF YOU ARE WITHDRAWN FROM GRADUATION (ADMINISTRATIVELY OR OTHERWISE), REAPPLICATION FOR GRADUATION IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO GRADUATE.





Special Requirements
Students that complete a Graduate Certificate at Averett University are NOT eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony but will receive their certificate in the mail at the end of the semester the certificate is completed. To accommodate students who complete a graduate certificate at Averett University we ask that the graduation application be completed so that we can both deliver the certificate to the correct location as well as print the name of the student on the certificate correctly.
